Phenomenal! Korean food with a little extra flavor! We feel like we are not a patron, but the service was so friendly and very special. Didnt mind the waiting time since the interactions of the staff with the customers were very welcoming. food was served fresh, piping hot, and ooooohthentic!! Thanks for the experience! Don't just satisfy your stomach, satisfy your Seoul!

With eating out being so expensive these days I'm always looking for establishments that offer great value for the buck that doesnt sacrifice too much for quality. If you're craving bento and korean food I dont think you'll find any other place in the City that can match this restaurant. My gf ordered the bulgogi and Tkim bento while I had the Katsu and Tkim bento. Probably not the best katsu or bulgogi you'll ever have but they were still delicious. Both came out with generous portions of banchan and the owner threw in her own side dish of korean noodles you generally cant find in korean restaurants. I was able to finish my meal and was full but my gf had enough for leftovers the next day. The best part was how much the bill was afterwards. With tax and a 20% tip the total was cheaper than what Japanese restaurants charge for their 2 item bentos. Hopefully they can keep serving up food at this price point. Definitely will be coming back.

Great value! The quantity and quality is exceptional for the price! An extremely good value. I was here to celebrate a ribaversary so short ribs were ordered! They were pretty yummy. Bonus we got some delicious lime jello for dessert. Service was a little slow. We had to get their attention several times; to place our order, ask for a kimchi refill, ask for to go containers, and finally to ask for our bill. They never checked in on us and the thing is there were two ladies working the small seating area. It was not that busy. And cleanliness is not the best. The tables were extremely sticky. So much so that it was nearly impossible to lift the menu off of the table. And the floor was also sticky. The place needs a good thorough cleaning. So if you don't mind waiting but want some affordable Korean bbq, this place is worth checking out.

One of the best Korean spots in SF. Definitely on this side of the city! First off, their bonchan is unmatched. Super fresh and delicious and they are generous with it, even when you take it to go! They really do everything super well here. Their dukbokki has great flavor, but isn't spicy. My toddler can eat it! I wonder if I can ask for more spice since I like it spicier! Nice and fresh kimbap! It's pretty much the same price as anywhere else, but the freshness is amazing! I noticed that many people were getting 3-4 orders to go! I also got 2 of their Doshirak II Bento Box meals. It includes half an order of kimbap, meat of your choice, and TKim (think Korean tempura). Super good bulgogi and excellent deal on the kalbi! The veggie TKim is so bomb! Really worth it to get the bento, but I also remember liking the seafood pancake, chapchae, and all of the bonchan.

I frequent this the area and always pass by this restaurant but never had the chance to try it until today. I ordered their Spicy Pork Bento Box for $16 and it came with so much food!!! Portion bigger than I expected. It even came with so much banchan (I think 12 different varieties).. my jaw dropped when they brought it to the table. If you give me a bowl of rice, that's a whole meal right there!! Truly felt like you were eating at grandmas house. The highlight of the meal was the tkim. Guilty pleasure. And I was pleasantly surprised how good the spicy pork was because I almost never order stir fried pork whenever I'm eating out. Although it may look spicy, it was super mild which I like. Service was great. Good amount of seats inside. Ended the meal off with some complimentary orange cream jello and chocolate cake!! Overall 4.5/5. Highly recommend! 04.03.2024 | Wednesday @1:30pm

I was craving Korean fried chicken one day for lunch and walked into this place on Ocean Avenue at about 1 pm. There is still a good amount of people sitting and eating. This place has been around for some time, and service has always been excellent. It is a family-run business, and you typically like a place like this for the food and service, not the ambiance. They got one of the fried chicken dishes and did not want the rice, so they substituted another type of fried stuff like veggies and gyoza. I always enjoy supporting small businesses like this one.

This is a nice mom and pap feeling kind of restaurant. It gives us a vibe of back in the old days when the whole family works at the place. The server is your child, mom doing the money collecting and dad is making the dishes. No frills kind of place. It is really good, prices are super good for sf dine out. Under $20 you get side dishes and an entree. Spicy pork combo ~ comes with a few pieces of Korean sushi , some fried tempura which is super yummy and your main entree meat. The portions are generous and the spicy pork had a nice sweeet taste to it . Bulgogi combo, had the side dishes and plentiful meat on the side. The dish is awesome with rice. The tempura had a mixture of shrimp tempura, vegetables and a mandu which is a Korean dumpling fried. Nothing tasted too oily and it was just right crispy ! Curry udon,- came with an option of beef or chicken or tofu. It taste like a comfort bowl of udon from your mamas house. Portions again is super generous here. Spicy tofu soup~ I forgot to ask for an egg, not spicy at all and it is good for a cold day. This was my least favorite out of everything we had today . Seafood pancake, now that was complimentary from the owners! They were so nice and this was actually the best dish !! Crunch in the outside and nice chew ~ the condiments inside were plentiful , love how you can taste squid and onion when you bite into the pancake ~ you top it with the sauce makes it even more vibrant! Come early, because it got packed when we were about to leave. The place is small and have only. A few tables. But everything is served quite fast.

Lovely little mom and pop restaurant, food was very tasty and homey and great value plus a ton of bonchon and they gave us free dessert! I feel like bonchon is often overlooked but they had a huge variety and gave us a refill when we finished; awesome sides to go with the meal. Spicy pork was our favorite of the meats we tried, really well marinated and moist. This entree came with rice, kimbap, fried shrimp, and fried veggie pancakes plus a "tempura"-esque sauce. Kimbap was okay but the fried bites were a pleasant surprise as I didn't know the entree came with these. They were quite good with the sauce but not the shattering/flaky fried type, more like a bready fried batter. Bulgogi was good, sauce is actually very tasty but the meat itself was kind of dry. Fried chicken was really really crispy. Comes with a good sauce but personally prefer sauced Korean wings over dry ones. Sauce was tasty but thinner than the typically syrupy kfc sauces.

Cute mom-and-pop Korean restaurant on Ocean Ave! I came here on a weekend night around 7 pm and was promptly seated. I probably came on a good day because I have always driven past Go Go 7 and I can see how packed it can get. I was craving tofu soup and a quick search on Yelp brought me to Go Go 7. I was debating whether or not I should go to a joint that specializes in tofu soup but decided to check this place out since it was close by. Service here was great, the workers work really hard and even when they're not busy, they hustle and do their best to get you out ASAP. Something that stood out about this place is the amount of banchan (side dishes) that they give you. We were given a total of 12 different side dishes, some of them were unique ones that I had never tried before. Additionally, the tofu soup was very flavorful and rich. They don't have a wide range of protein options with the tofu soup and it also doesn't come with an egg, but overall I really enjoyed my meal here and would definitely come back.
